It seems the hot keys for weapon slot 3 and 4 are bugged together. I have found the lines that have to do with the weapon slot hotkeys but I don't think I understand it well enough to fix the issue.Īnother thing I have noticed is that pressing the hotkey for weapon slot 4 will activate weapon slot 3. And since id be playing the game on pc, id prefer to use kb+m controls over using joy to key or some other program to map the buttons to a controller. I have checked ProfOpts_profile in my save folder in documents > Bioware > Mass Effect Andromeda. (ex: left shift to be run, space to be cover/hurdle, and have e as my use key). So my hope is that there are some modders who could share some light on why this is happening. No controller configuration makes any difference with Mass Effect Andromeda I've read all the posts I can find about Mass Effect Andromeda (hereafter MEA), and none of them seem to help me. No matter what key I bind, be it default or custom, the weapon slot 4 just cannot be activated.
It's awesome being able to switch between all 4 of your weapons with the press of just 1, 2, 3, or 4. As some of you might know, on PC, you can hotkey each weapon slot to a keybinding.
